In the heart of a 4.5 hectare park, L’Ondine de Provence is a paradise of 105 pitches for epicureans who want to relax in the sun, far from the mistral and the scorching nights. Don’t be fooled by its 2 stars, the essential is only visible on site: the feeling of really enjoying your holiday.
Located in La Motte-Chalancon (Drôme), between Nyons (37km) and Buis-les-Baronnies (42km), this nature campsite is an ideal base camp for families who are fans of the Pas-des-Ondes lake (1.5km). In a quiet area, it will delight all those who love hiking and nature (but with the possibility of a good little restaurant on the spot), Provençal villages and their markets (but evenings away from the crowd), motorbike trips (but comfortable nights), starlit night skies, cool and pleasant nights after hot and sunny days…
With a total area of 4.5 hectares, L’Ondine de Provence offers a variety of pitches for tents and caravans, with grass or gravel on the ground:
– isolated in the countryside by the river
– side by side (preferred by groups), close to the sanitary facilities
– surrounded by trees near the playgrounds and the restaurant
* Le bar-restaurant accueille les campeurs tous les jours de 8h à 14h et de 19h à 23h en juillet et août. Il propose des plats variés et goûteux et dispose d’une terrasse extérieure agréable avec vue sur les jeux d’enfants.
L’après-midi, une terrasse près de la piscine permet de déguster des glaces et boissons fraîches.
* Hors saison, le restaurant est ouvert tous les week-ends (vendredi et samedi soir, dimanche midi). Le menu change à chaque fois en fonction des produits de saison et des envies du chef.
Des animations et concerts (surtout rock) ponctuent l’été.
Un tournoi de pétanque est organisé tous les mardis après-midi.
Des animations pour les enfants sont organisées les 14 et 21 juillet, ainsi que ponctuellement.
Les campeurs et leurs enfants participent à la fête votive du village à travers la décoration d’un char, avec lequel ils défilent dans les rues en fêtes. Une tradition très appréciée et conviviale.
