Medieval festival in Pérouges, close to your campsite in the Ain

For one weekend, on 11 and 12 June 2022, the medieval village of Pérouges goes back in time and plunges you into the Middle Ages. Colourful stalls, knights’ fights in armour and fireworks displays are on the programme for this medieval weekend. Stroll among the tents where men and women in costume are busy. The highlight of the weekend is the parade on Sunday, with troubadours playing hurdy-gurdies and period instruments. On this occasion, the most beautiful costumes parade through the village. This promises to be a weekend out of time!
