Camping de la Vallée de l’Indre in Montbazon is a small campsite with a swimming pool, located in the department of Indre-et-Loire. Since 2020, the campsite has new owners, Julie and Lionel, who welcome you to their nature campsite. The Indre valley campsite offers you a holiday in a wooded setting, with the Indre river flowing along its banks. Situated in the heart of a 10 hectare park and 10 minutes south of the emblematic city of Tours, come and enjoy the tranquillity of the Indre and spend a relaxing holiday with your family, friends or as a couple in a peaceful environment but only 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of the village where there are numerous shops. The geographical location of the campsite will allow you to explore a region that offers many cultural and sporting activities: visits to castles, leisure parks, nature reserves, discovering our vineyards and our gastronomy and beautiful walks.
The village of Montbazon is known for its fortress, a mythical place with its reconstructed medieval village, its battles and its many craftsmen of the time. It is also an ideal starting point for beautiful walks, horseback riding, cycling and even on the water. It is also a crossroads for the Indre by bike and the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. There are also many castles in the region surrounded by beautiful forests, where you can walk in peace of mind and discover relics of the past.
