La Simioune is a family campsite in the Vaucluse, with 80 pitches nestling between lavender fields and vineyards. From 1 March, we invite you to discover the Drôme Provençale and the Ardèche. Located less than 30 minutes from exceptional towns and villages such as Nyons, Grignan, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, La Garde Adhémar and Avignon, this 3-star campsite is an excellent base for a holiday in Provence Alpes Côtes d’Azur offering excellent value for money. Wifi is free and available throughout the campsite for all the family. The water park at camping La Simioune has 2 separate areas for the comfort and enjoyment of every holidaymaker. On one side you’ll find a relaxation pool heated to 29°C, with access reserved for adults from early June to early September, and on the other side a play pool with a paddling pool and waterslides for families looking for fun and splashy memories. For your convenience, La Simioune, a 3-star affordable campsite in the Vaucluse, offers fresh bread and pastries to order in the mornings, and takeaway meals or snacks in the evenings. Numerous activities and remarkable sites are accessible from the campsite or just a few kilometres away, such as hiking and cycling trails, an adventure park 500 m away, the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte, canoeing on the Ardèche and Cèze rivers, the Sautadet waterfalls and the Vallon Pont d’Arc gorges. In the mornings, you can discover the region’s gastronomy and local produce at the many Provencal markets in the neighbouring villages.
Camping la Simioune is set in a pine forest with large, spacious pitches in sun or shade. The sandy soil is relatively flat and suitable for tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes. The sanitary facilities are recent and modern. All the pitches at the campsite offer unbeatable value for money in the Vaucluse and come with 10A electricity, water and free wifi. You will need a European standard adaptor for the electricity terminal. For your convenience, small fridges can be hired for a stay of several nights (subject to availability). The campsite faces Mont Ventoux, famous for its stages in the Tour de France, and offers a view of the surrounding forest.
