In the south of the Dordogne, you will find this charming campsite situated between the wooded mountains and the Lot. In the middle of the vineyards that stretch around the campsite you will find estates where you can taste the wines of the region. The area around the campsite is very peaceful. You can walk or cycle for hours in this peaceful nature without meeting anyone. There are even car-free cycle paths that lead to the medieval town of Puy L’Eveque, for example. You can also cycle to the castle of Bonaguil, the favourite castle of the Dutch owners of the campsite. There are many original towns and caves to visit and every day there’s a flea market nearby.
Most of the large pitches on the campsite are situated directly on the river Lot. If you want to stay on the campsite, there’s also plenty to do. From the pitches directly beside the river you can fish or read a book under the trees. It’s also pleasant to swim or canoe in the Lot. The campsite has a large swimming pool, a cosy bar with several terraces and a small restaurant where the campsite owner prepares small dishes using organic produce. Both parents and children will have a great time at this friendly campsite in an idyllic setting.
This is a 350 metre plot right next to the river, with many different pitches. You have a wonderful view of the river and the sunset. In the first part of the campsite, the pitches directly beside the river are for tents. An 11-metre tunnel tent or a large folding trailer can be set up on the other pitches, which run from the middle to the back, also on the river bank. The other pitches are located along the two paths that cross the campsite.
Almost all pitches overlook the river.
