Enjoy a stay in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys (former volcanos of Auvergne), classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site! In the peace and quiet, in the middle of nature and in a family atmosphere typical of small campsites, you will enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Parc des Volcans, a heated swimming pool and our Auvergne specialities.
Sportsmen, hikers and mountain bikers can leave directly from the campsite thanks to the paths that run alongside it and allow them to escape into the heart of nature. Nearby, the Aydat lake awaits you with its supervised beach.
Aydat is also less than 30 minutes from the main tourist sites in the region: Puy de Dôme, Vulcania, Puy de Pariou, Saint-Nectaire, Sancy massif, Chambon lake… Ideal to avoid spending too much time in the car.
The pitches are all grassy, and can be shaded, semi-shaded or sunny. Depending on their location, they offer a view of the Sancy massif to the west or the Puy de Combegrasse and Rodde to the north-east.
A laundry is available from May to October with washing machine and dryer.
The campsite’s grocery shop offers emergency products (pasta, compotes, preserves, hygiene, etc.) as well as local products: terrines, beers, wines, etc.
The campsite offers children the opportunity to take part every day in feeding the animals on the mini-farm: rabbits, chickens, etc.
In high season, it is also possible to visit the campsite’s beehives in beekeeper’s clothing to discover the world of bees!
