Camping Ardèche la Turelure

South of Aubenas, when you leave the D104 road, the magic happens instantly when you are in front of the cliff that borders the Turelure campsite. You have arrived in “natural” land! Bordered by two small rivers, La Ligne and La Lande, sheltered from the tourist crowds, the campsite has 65 pitches and enjoys a central location in the southern Ardèche. Close to the Tanargue massif and the Ardèche Cevennes, the Ardèche gorges, the Via Ardèche greenway, and numerous characterful or medieval villages (Largentière, Balazuc, Joyeuse, Vogüe, Chassiers, …): the Ardèche has all kinds of experiences in store! Whether you are keen on nature and sports challenges (mountain biking, trail running, cycle touring, hiking, canyoning, climbing, caving, tree climbing…), or a lover of heritage and beautiful stones: your stay will be too short! Set in a quiet place, away from traffic, in the middle of nature, you will enjoy the swimming pool or the river bathing at the campsite! Lulled by the song of the cicadas, the frogs, and the Little Duke, you can also observe the beavers at nightfall! Here the watchword is to reconnect with the rhythm of nature, let go and enjoy a friendly, authentic, simple and sincere atmosphere! The little ones are also honoured! At the end of the access road, children are king and can ride their bikes in complete safety on the campsite. Fishing with a net, raft race, playground, board games…the days follow one another and are not alike! In a few words: Family, Nature and well-being… the true nature of the campsite!

More details

The campsite stretches along a cliff (the plateau des Gras leading to Balazuc) and the river La Lande. The nights are therefore cooler and the sun comes out around 8.30am, 9am in the middle of summer, guaranteeing calm and rest. The pitches are very spacious, to ensure everyone’s privacy (even on the campsite, it’s possible!). The campsite offers two types of pitches: River side or Grandeur Nature. River side (180 to 300 m2): the most shaded, naturally separated by trees, with direct access to the river via the promenade (an area accessible to all at the ends of the campsite). Grandeur Nature (150 to 200 m2): separated by hedges, semi-shaded, or delimited by trees, semi-shaded or sunnier, with a view of the sunset over the Tanargue mountain range. The pitches are all grassy and on level ground. The site is suitable for all types of camping: tents, caravans, vans or camping cars. We take particular care with the trees of species adapted to the climate (acacias, ashes, oaks, hackberry trees, maples, poplars…), and we are constantly developing the vegetation and plantations in a “sustainable” spirit.
2 sanitary blocks can accommodate people with reduced mobility, and one offers a “family” cabin with a bathtub and changing table. One block is entirely closed to allow a shower protected from bad weather or lower temperatures in the early season. The other is supplied with hot water by solar panels.

Une expérience pour vos souvenirs de vacances

Camping in the Ardèche promises to make the most of all the outdoor activities available and easily accessible from La Turelure. The campsite works with external service providers to offer canoeing trips on the Ardèche gorges (from 7 to 32 km), canyoning (Chassezac, Ardèche), accrobranche / via ferrata on the Chassezac. To make your life easier, reservations are managed on site. The campsite has chosen service providers that correspond to its values: lovers of the environment and concerned about your well-being.
For even more adrenaline, you can also take advantage of the beautiful climbing or caving spots in our surroundings.
For gourmets, the Ardèche is also a land of wine and traditions, and the campsite team will be able to inform you about the local producers offering tasting and discovery of their products.
