The campsite is ideally situated to discover the Ardèche and its inhabitants. There is an atmosphere here like nowhere else. The locals come regularly to the campsite and talk to you about their lives here, their passions and their way of life (art, crafts, nature, etc.). Spending your holidays at the campsite Les Lavandes in Darbres means rediscovering the values and memories of yesteryear. It’s about finding yourself and your family.
The campsite has 3 terraces. On the upper terrace there are only chalets for rent. On the central terrace, the main one, there are 37 bare pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes. These 37 pitches are arranged on either side of a path forming a large loop. The pitches on the inside of the loop are the most shaded. There are 6 pitches on the lower terrace which are sunny and are kept for groups if possible. The pitches on the lower terrace can only be used for tents. From the lower terrace, a small stone staircase leads to the sanitary block. The toilet block is at the level of the central terrace.
From the toilet block to the furthest pitch, it takes about a minute on foot.
* Snack bar open during the big weekends (Easter, Ascension, Whitsun, etc.).

On Wednesdays in July and August, at the end of the afternoon, a beekeeper presents his products and his transparent hive. It’s up to you to find the queen…
On Thursday evenings, it’s the lively evening of the week with a unique meal (paella) and entertainment until midnight (either a karaoke or a concert).
The river is a 5 minute walk from the campsite. It is a small, shallow river. But it’s ideal for a paddle with the youngest. For the older and more athletic ones, it is possible to go up the river to a waterfall. And if you are fit enough, you can go on to discover two more waterfalls.
From the campsite, there is a nice 1h15 walk through the chestnut grove overlooking the village. A magnificent view.
You can also take your car, drive less than 10 minutes and go climbing! There is a site to the north and a site to the south. Both are beautiful. At this distance there are several official hiking trails to do which are very beautiful.
In the next village (5 minutes drive), there is the animal park of Lussas. In Lussas, there is also the documentary film festival every year in August.
Not far from the campsite you can visit an old troglodyte village, go cycling or go-karting.
And 20 minutes away, you have the first canoeing trips, canyoning, adventure parks, and a lot of other activities (cellar visits, cave visits, museums, etc.).
