Just a stone’s throw from the historic town centre of Brantôme in Périgord, the 4-star family campsite of Brantôme Peyrelevade offers large pitches (from 110 to 200 m²) in the shade of a wooded park, crossed by the river Dronne where canoes navigate.
The campsite is connected to the town centre of Brantôme en Périgord, 900 metres away, by a secure path. This village will seduce you with its medieval architecture and the charm of the water that surrounds it, which has given it the nickname of Venice of the Périgord. The campsite benefits from a peaceful setting as close as possible to the surrounding nature, an ideal base for exploring this magnificent region at the gateway to the Regional Nature Park to discover the Dordogne (hiking trails), the gastronomy of the Périgord (foie gras, truffles, walnut tart) and history (medieval castles of Bourdeilles and Hautefort, caves of Lascaux and Villars…). Young children are not forgotten as the campsite offers them its aquatic area (paddling pool and splash zone), the sandy beach and entertainment.
The pitches are 80% shaded thanks to the wooded park, they are flat, 21 are on the riverside. The surface areas vary from 110 to 200 m² but on average more than 120 m². They are all electrified in 10A with for the great comforts: drinking water on the pitch and grey water evacuation. The campsite is equipped with 3 sanitary facilities, one of which is heated.
