A break that does you good! On a trip to the Lot region, Marc and his family put their van down at Le Bois de Sophie and immediately knew they’d found a special spot: a small, quiet, natural campsite. Marc loved the magnificent roads, the RELAIS MOTARD spirit and the friendly atmosphere in the evenings. Claire loved the heated pool, the hikes and the local markets. The girls were full of adventure: caving, canoeing, zip-lining and more.

With its 44 pitches and 22 rental units, the campsite offers a gentle, authentic break, perfect for nomadic travellers.

The Lot is a region of medium-altitude plateaus (400 to 600m), forming the western foothills of the Massif Central.
Visit the major sites in the Lot Valley and Dordogne Valley:
– Rocamadour: A medieval town in the heart of Quercy, crossed by the GR6 (Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle) linking Figeac. A sanctuary, a legend: Rocamadour is a vertical magic, built on the Alzou gorges. A signposted trail leads you through the medieval structure of the village center and its curiosities.
– The jewel of the Dordogne valley, Carennac, perched on its promontory, Loubressac, Cardaillac, dominated by its towers, Capdenac-le-Haut, the hanging fortress, Autoire, the little Versailles and finally the French favourite village, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.
