Classified as a Grand Site Occitanie, Saint-Bertrand de Comminges is part of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages of France’ association and boasts several historical monuments including the Cathedral and the Basilica, which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela.

This episcopal city ranks among the major cultural heritage sites of humanity worldwide. Since 2010, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee has recognized the exceptional universal value of the Albi site, visited by over 800,000 visitors each year.
