The Ain region is a cycling paradise. The summit of Grand Colombier (1,534 metres above sea level) in the southern Jura mountains is considered one of the most challenging mountain passes in France. It is also a frequent stop for the Tour de France peloton. Would you like to take on this legendary mountain pass? Why not take part in the Andinoise cycle race on 10 May 2025?
There are two routes to choose from for this race. The first, starting from Belley, is a 75 km loop with an elevation gain of 1,716 metres, crossing the Col du Grand Colombier halfway through. The second, also starting from Belley, is a 110 km loop with an elevation gain of 2,723 metres and a climb up the Grand Colombier at the 75 km mark. Both races start from Belley at 9 am. The registration fee is €30 for the short route and €40 for the long route. In addition to participation in the race with individual timing, registration includes refreshments along the route and a meal at the finish line.
